This is what I ended up playing.
+7 Mountains, 5 Forests, 5 plains
Round 1 I played against a BRG deck. Game one I was stuck on 4 lands 1 mountain and 3 forests no plains, he had a good opening with a dregscape zombie and sprouting thrinax I was too far behind. Game 2 I had a quick start with a squire into dragon fodder, but eventually he stabilizes with a 4/4 Thunder-Thrash Elder and a Jungle Weaver which I cant kill, I tried to come back with a Rakeclaw Gargantuan and a Cavern Thoctar, but he has a Skeletonize and an executioner’s capsule to remove my fatties.
Well so far I’m 1-2, could be worse.
Heya!
I agree with most of your picks actually, but two stands out as simply wrong in my book.
Pack 3, pick 2: The Thrinax, the Visionary and the Bloodpyre are all strictly better than the 2/2 haste guy. I also really like Drumhunter and since you seem to be going into a possibly power 5 theme, he’s solid. If he sticks around, he’s a great card advantage. If he gets killed by removal, well that’s one less spell that won’t kill one of your bombs.
Pack 3, pick 9: I would have taken the Welkin guide. He’s won me enough matches to be solid in my book, especially when you toss a 5 power guy up in the air…and he leaves a body with evasion. Usually one of the last cards to make the deck (amongst choices 20-23), but he’s never really disappointed me.

This draft was from awhile ago, I definitely agree that I was over valuing the rgw aggro and it is not as good as I thought. I agree that I should have taken the Bloodpyre Elemental instead of the Ripclan Crasher. Pack three Pick 9 I do not believe the pick actually matters because neither card will make the main deck, I thought I might as well have a Sideboard card vs the unearth deck.
