So Tuesday nights usually have me hanging out at coolstuff waiting to draft. Lately more and more people have gotten into EDH so Ive been messing around with my white weenie EDH around Soraya the Falconer. It’s not very good a few of the people have Decks around Oona Queen of the Fae. Their decks contain all stars like mana drain, yawgmoth’s will, library of alexandria, and a plethora of dual lands.
Occasionally we cube draft when we don’t want to join in one of the drafts. Cube drafts are always fun where you can either try and draft crazy control decks, fast aggro decks, or even combo decks like alluren. My cube got started around last year at the time of the invitational. What got me to go and get more cards for it was when I was at GP Daytona and the was a dealer there with a dammaged rares binder. Most of the cards looked like they had gotten wet or were heavily played, but it gave me the opportunity to get great rares for my cube at super low prices.
Of course Tuesday is just not Tuesday without doing at least one draft of the current set. Usually the are anywhere from six or more drafts a night at Coolstuff. This gives me the opportunity to either get in a competitive one if i feel up to the challenge or join a draft with players i am more confident in out playing.
